Die Geschichte meines Lebens

Synopsis

Thomas returns to the small town where he grew up to pay his last respects to his best friend Alvin and to tell ‘the story of his life’. Alvin’s sudden death – possibly a suicide – weighs heavily on Thomas, as do the unresolved conflicts that have built up over the course of their lifelong friendship.

Once again, he relives all the stages of their shared life together with Alvin and realises what the indestructible foundation of any friendship is: love.
