Synopsis

From the moment Dr John Watson moves into Baker Street to work as a consultant to the detective Sherlock Holmes, his life is turned upside down.

In A Study in Scarlet, Holmes and Watson’s first criminal case, the pair are called to a house in south London, where they come across the body of a dead man whose face is contorted into a mask of horror. The body shows no signs of physical violence, yet a strange word has been written in blood on the wall.

The police are at a loss, but when Sherlock Holmes puts his brilliant genius to work, he unravels a web of tragic stories of love and revenge.
